Frequently Asked Questions
I started blogging my sophomore year of college before it was “a thing”. At that time I found out I couldn’t eat gluten, and there weren’t many resources available. I did a ton of research and recipe testing, and decided to start a blog to keep everything in one spot. My goal was to help others skip the work and get right to the information they needed to make their gluten free lives better!
Over time, as my life changed (marriage, having children, them growing up) my content changed. What started as a gluten free food blog morphed into all things food, fashion, beauty, motherhood and more. Vic’s Daily Dish is my little corner of the internet where I can just be me!
When I first started blogging, my blog name wasn’t terribly creative. I tried some different things over the years but none of them really captured what I was doing here. I love the name “Vic’s Daily Dish” because it covers all the things. I share gluten free recipes (dishes) and “dish on” my favorite products, outfits, and my life as a mom. And yes, you’ll frequently see my absolute favorite dish from Target shared on here! It’s a dish. It’s a bowl. It’s the best!
I’m from (and currently live) in Central Connecticut. We spend the summer on the Connecticut shore. My goal is to live there year round! I’m happiest at the beach.
Something I love about the Connecticut shore (specifically the Clinton and Madison area) is all the gluten free options in the restaurants! You can check out THIS POST for a list of my faves, but some of my go-tos are: The Beach Donut, Palmieri’s Pizza, Pica Chica, Rocky’s Aqua, Liv’s and Shank’s.
Let’s chat! Currently, I have availability to take on a few more clients – I would love to get to know you, your business, and goals for social media! My client list is limited so I can work with the best-fit businesses. Please use the Client Application Form on my contact page to connect with me.
After you submit the Client Application Form, we will send you an email detailing our services along with a pricing guide. We will ask you a few more questions to see if we would be a good fit.
If we are a good fit, we will email to schedule your 30 minute discovery Google Meets call. During the call we’ll go over your needs, goals, and what services would be best for you.
If VMS and your brand or business are a good match, we will send a proposal, contract, and first invoice for your review. Then the fun begins!
Yes and yes! I go to Ashley at The Medspa at Connecticut Facial Plastic Surgery in Wethersfield, Connecticut. Ashley uses Xeomin in my forehead, 11’s, crow’s feet, bunny lines (nose), DAOs (sad face muscles), and chin. She also gives me a lip flip and lip filler. Many of my social media clients work in aesthetics and I have a deep appreciation for their work. I have no problem sharing what I get and encourage others to do what makes them feel their best!
